Voter registration deadline coming up

by Brian Zylstra | January 8th, 2010

Sure, we had a statewide election only two months ago. But elections happen more often than just August and November. Case in point: King County and few other counties are having a special election on Tuesday, February 9. And if you want to vote next month but haven’t registered to vote yet, better do it soon.

Monday (January 11) is the deadline for mail and online voter registration applications and updates for either voters currently registered or persons who aren’t already registered to vote in Washington State. February 1 is the last day for in-person voter registration for those who haven’t registered yet and want to take part in the February 9 election.

If you’re a King County resident, King County Elections has more info about these deadlines.
