Congressional Serial Set wins library poll

Another month of “State Library jewels” has come and gone. After we featured three more of the many interesting, rare and cool items or collections in the State Library, our online poll revealed that the Congressional Serial Set is the winner of the May edition of the contest in which you and others choose your favorite.

The set received 45 percent of the vote, besting adventurer Ranald MacDonald (29 percent) and a 1917 map of what was then Camp Lewis (26 percent).

This week we’ll begin showcasing three “Archives treasures” for June. Stay tuned.
