Time to vote on June “Library jewels”

by Brian Zylstra | July 2nd, 2012

It might now be July, but we’ve opened the online poll for you and others to choose your favorite “Library jewel” for June. (Hey, the NFL actually has its “2011 playoff games” in 2012, so there!)

The three candidates this month are:

1) Celestial and terrestrial globes from 1850

2) The State Library’s first catalog

3) An aerial photo of the 1974 World’s Fair

Your job, if you choose to accept it, is to pick your favorite among these three contenders. The online poll is open until Friday at noon, so don’t forget to vote! We’ll blog about the winner Friday afternoon.

What is your favorite June Library jewel?

  • Celestial and terrestrial globes (54%)
  • State Library's first catalog (25%)
  • Aerial photo of 1974 World's Fair (21%)

Total Voters: 61
