The recent Primary Election and the London Olympics haven’t been the only contests that many of you have focused on.

Another contest was the online poll for the July edition of State Library jewels, which wrapped up Friday. The runaway winner is the slide presentation of the 1914 Sedro-Woolley bank robbery, grabbing 71 percent of the votes. Coming in second was the collection of historic books on fruit growing (22 percent), followed by the rare collection of 1908 political business cards (7 percent).

We’ll kick off another round of “Archives treasures” sometime next week, so be watching!
