Time to vote on favorite State Library jewel

With the end of April comes the online poll to determine this month’s favorite State Library “jewel.” The three items featured this month include the “Pioneers of the Northwest” poem written by  W.E. McCroskey; Seattle World’s Fair Commission records and other materials; and photo negatives of Grand Coulee Dam taken by famed Northwest photographer Asahel Curtis. Results are in on “State Library jewel”!

Earlier this week we asked you to vote on the “State Library jewel” you found most interesting. The poll has closed, and the winner of our “State Library jewel” contest is the suffrage leader’s scrapbook, carrying 57 percent of all votes. The 1924 road map came in second (27 percent) followed by the list of motor vehicle owners in 1912 (16 percent).
