Another month of “State Library jewels” has come and gone. After we featured three more of the many interesting, rare and cool items or collections in the State Library, our online poll revealed that the Congressional Serial Set is the winner of the May edition of the contest in which you and others choose your favorite. The third and final candidate for May’s State Library “jewels” series is a nearly complete copy of the U.S. Congressional Serial Set. Commonly referred to as the Serial Set, it contains the House and Senate Documents and the House and Senate Reports bound by session of Congress.
