Liberty Lake $9 Million Bond for Community Center and Library

The City Council of Liberty Lake voted in May to put a ballot measure before its citizens on August 1st that would authorize a $9 million bond to build a Community Center and Library. This will be the third try to gain citizen approval for what will be the first municipal building constructed by the city in the community’s history. Incorporated in 2001, Liberty Lake is one of the fastest growing cities in Washington, growing from a city of fewer than 4,000 to over 10,000 in 2017.  The Liberty Lake Municipal Library was created in 2003.
