Library tourney: 1874 book on NW marine mammals advances

It was a come-from-behind win for an 1874 book about the Northwest’s marine mammals, as it edged a collection of aerial photos of the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption, 51 percent to 49 percent in Game 3 of the first round of the Library Jewels tourney. Game 4, between a suffrage leader’s scrapbook and Washington territorial censuses, starts this afternoon.
