A cool and classy new stamp featuring Washington’s state flag will soon be available to purchase. As part of its “Flags of Our Nation” stamp series, the U.S. Postal Service unveiled the new Washington State stamp in the Capitol Rotunda Friday afternoon. On the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, 10 soldiers from the U.S. Army Reserves’ 448th Civil Affairs Battalion helped fly 75 American flags and 10 Washington flags above the State Capitol Sunday.
