Calling young artists: contest time!
Alright finger-painting geniuses and colored-pencil gurus, the Secretary of State’s Office wants your doodles and your masterpieces alike.
This year our Elections Division is holding an Art Contest for 4th and 5th graders … and the winning art will appear on the statewide Washington State Voter’s Pamphlet. That’s like a few million people checking out your work!
2010 marks the centennial of woman’s suffrage in our state, so the art should fit the theme “Women’s Votes. Women’s Voices.” Below is a real low-budget example that we just whipped up to get your creative juices flowing (yours will clearly be better).
Get more info on entry details now … all art is due April 16!
