getwellWe’re glad to report that Secretary Reed’s surgery for kidney cancer went well this morning – and he’s on track to be back to his busy self soon.

The staff here will miss our boss while he’s out of the office … he will be in the hospital for a few days and then at home to recuperate for a couple of weeks.

Dave Ammons sent out more on Reed’s surgery earlier today, and his announcement of cancer last week.

Feel free to leave Secretary Reed a note of encouragement in the comments section below, and we’ll be sure he gets them.

  5. I hear scotch and cigars are fabulous for recovering from kidney surgery. Daytime television is counter-indicated so I’d find some good books, if I were you.

The twins saw the news report about you and were concerned. I assured them you were going to be just fine. Many prayers have and continue to go out for you and your family.     John and I are so glad your surgery went well and the prognosis is so good. Knowing you, now that a week has passed since your surgery, you are probably starting to get a bit of cabin fever. Keep resting – you will heal faster. When Margie starts encouraging you to go back to work, that is when you will know you are ready. Take care.
