Walking toward the Legislative Building on the way to work usually is inspiring on its own. But when you see the 12th Man flag flying high outside the Lege on the same day as the Seahawks’ Super Bowl parade in Seattle, well, it can give anyone a jolt on this chilly morning. Even the glass doors on the north side of the building show a reflection of the 12th Man flag fluttering in the cold breeze. Congrats to the NFL Champion Seahawks, and a big shout-out to the 12th Man on this special day of celebration, wherever you are!

In honor of the 12th Man, Gov. Inslee has proclaimed a “Moment of LOUDNESS” for the Seahawks Wednesday at 12:12 p.m., urging “the 12th Man to celebrate this momentous Super Bowl win and congratulate the team and themselves by making as much noise as possible for 30 seconds.” You can read the entire text of the governor’s proclamation here.
