LSTA GRANTS MANAGER OPENING
The Office of the Secretary of State, Washington State Library, is currently recruiting for an LSTA Grants Manager within its Library Development program. This position is primarily responsible for grant program development and administration, and administrative support for the Library Council of Washington.
The person in this position works with libraries of all types throughout Washington State. This person works with library employees from line staff to library directors providing information about grant opportunities, accepting and reviewing grant applications, and notifying individuals of awards. This person is responsible for developing grant agreements in conjunction with internal project managers and externally with local library staff, providing oversight of award implementation by our grantees, and processing claims and reports. The LSTA Grants Manager works with both state and federal guidelines and regulations to ensure that grantees understand and maintain compliance in these areas.
The Grants Manager represents the LSTA grants program at conferences and meetings, and provides technical support over the phone, by e-mail, face-to-face, and through webinars.
In supporting the Library Council of Washington, the Grants Manager locates and secures meeting locations, arranges travel for Council members, works with catering, takes notes and posts to Library Development webpages.
