A 1784 chart of the Northwest coast is the latest first-round winner of our Library Jewels tourney. The chart defeated an 1873 Tacoma family picnic photo 54 percent to 46 percent. The 1784 chart next week will face the winner of the upcoming contest between the J.W. Thompson photo collection of Washington and the Washington Talking Book & Braille Library’s turntable room.
