Extra, extra! Read all about it in the Voters’ Guide
Our Elections Division has posted the Online Voters’ Guide, a one-stop resource for what’s on the November ballot, on its Web site here .
This guide includes information about the two ballot measures – Initiative 1033 and Referendum 71 – that will be placed before voters statewide this fall. It also has info about the three House races in Eastern Washington, as well as two judicial contests in the Puget Sound area.
In addition to being in English, the information in the Voters’ Guide may be available in Spanish and/or Chinese, depending on the jurisdiction. To switch to one of these languages, use the language links at the top right of the screen.
We also received word that the statewide Voters’ Pamphlet has been finalized and sent to the printer. This year’s edition is 56 pages. More than 3 million copies of this handy voter information tool will be printed and mailed to Washington voters, who should receive their copy of the Voters’ Pamphlet between October 5 and October 23, depending on the county. October 16 is the deadline for counties to mail ballots to voters who vote by mail. The General Election is November 3.
