We’re entering the last weekend before the big election. For those of you who aren’t overwhelmed by looking at campaign literature, here is one from long ago.

It features former U.S. House Speaker Tom Foley of Spokane. Foley represented Eastern Washington’s 5th Congressional District from 1965 to 1995. He served as House Speaker during his final six years in Congress. Foley later was U.S. ambassador to Japan from 1997 to 2001.
