On Monday, Secretary Reed began his annual college civics tour in which he visits many college campuses throughout Washington and encourages students to vote and become engaged in their communities.

His first day included stops at Green River Community College, Tacoma CC, Bates Technical College, Pierce College Fort Steilacoom, Pierce College Puyallup and University of Washington Tacoma. Here he is pictured with three members of Bates’ student government.
