A record crowd gathered in the Capitol Saturday night as the Combined Fund Drive hosted its fourth annual Masquerade Ball. Secretary of State Kim Wyman and her husband, John, were among the roughly 800 people who attended, 200 more than the previous high.
Guests enjoyed dancing, a silent auction and even a Casino Night in the Columbia Room. The event raised more than $10,000 for the Combined Fund Drive, which is part of the Office of Secretary of State. The CFD raises millions for charity by allowing public employees to contribute by payroll deduction or one-time giving.
