Over the decades, Washington’s Capitol has seen its share of protests and demonstrations. Several times each year, groups gather on the steps of the Legislative Building to exercise their rights and let others know how they feel. The dry weather the past week or two in Olympia has resulted in foggy mornings and sunny afternoons around the Capitol Campus. Not even the dome of the Legislative Building is immune to the fog, but it sure stands out once the sun arrives.

Tea’d off in Olympia

Today was the second annual Tea Party rally on the state Capitol steps. KTTH talk show host David Boze and former KVI talk-jock Kirby Wilbur were among those who addressed the crowd, and initiative giant Tim Eyman was among those in attendance.
