It’s on to the semis of the Archives Treasures tourney for the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption documents. The St. Helens docs eliminated the 1874 photos of Seattle 54 percent to 46 percent in the second quarterfinal of the tourney, aka November Nuttiness.

Our third quarterfinal matchup is between the Tenino Oregon Trail marker and the documents of Washington Territory’s first prison. The online poll for that one begins this afternoon, so be watching.
