1) NATIONAL LIBRARY OF MEDICINE RESOURCES WEBINAR

Resources from the National Library of Medicine (NLM) will be June’s First Tuesday topic. Carolyn Martin, a librarian with the NLM’s Seattle branch, will share how to access medical information for your library’s customers. She will cover the free training provided by NLM and give an overview of the health and medicine resources available through webinars, blogs, and social media.

The mission of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) is to promote the resources of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to health professionals and improve the public’s access to information to enable them to make informed decisions about their health.

  • Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. PDT

Instructions and Login for First Tuesdays session

First Tuesdays webinars are designed as a continuing-education opportunity for staff of libraries in Washington State. These special-subject presentations, lasting about 60 minutes, are recorded so others may listen at their convenience.
