About 20 junior high and high school students from The River Academy in Wenatchee volunteered a Friday afternoon in January to dust shelves at the Wenatchee Public Library. Pend Oreille County Library District officer elected
Katherine Schutte will continue as chair of the Pend Oreille County Library District for one more year as a result of elections held at the district’s November board meeting. Everett Public Library’s historic mural gets a makeover (The Herald, Everett, 12/16/15)
New library effort over (Spokesman Review, Spokane, 12/17/15)
LVCU donates $10,000 to Sunnyside Community Library
Lower Valley Credit Union presented the Sunnyside Community Library with a donation in the amount of $10,000 on December 8, 2015. The donated funds updated the library’s two technology work rooms which are available to students and the public alike. The donation also funded a hand painted mural displayed in the children’s section of the updated library, and contributed to purchasing various pieces of furniture that were placed throughout the building.
