1) GRANTSTATION SUBSCRIPTION EXTENSION
The Washington State Department of Commerce and GrantStation have announced that all existing public library subscriptions to GrantStation have been extended through December 31, 2010. This extension was negotiated using “leftover” GrantStation subscriptions that had not been assigned to specific organizations.
GrantStation is currently offering a special “S.O.S.” subscription and renewal for as low as $199.00, a discount of $400 off the regular price. Additional costs apply for multiple seats. The offer is valid through the end of June. For more information or to enroll, follow this shortcut: www.sos.wa.gov/quicklinks/station or contact Will Stuivenga [email protected] 360.704.5217.
DISCLAIMER: The State Library regularly highlights third-party events and online resources as a way to alert the library community to training and resource opportunities. By doing so, we are not endorsing the content of the event, nor promoting any specific product, but merely providing this information as an FYI to librarians who must then decide what is right for them.

Organizations that are committed to improving the health and safety of the residents of company communities are also supported. Priority is given to organizations that serve youth, low-income individuals and families, and people with disabilities.
